Jose was known as Mr. Fix it. If it was broken or not working, he would find a way to repair it and make it work better. He loved to laugh and tell jokes.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Carmen H. Oquendo, daughters, Madeline DeLarosa, Jasmine Guzman, Maritza Casillas, Carmen Garcia and Maria Acevedo;12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Carlos and Nicolas Guzman, sisters, Awilda, Ignacia, Maria Vitoria, Gregoria, Maria Elenis, Hilda and Gladys Guzman; many nieces and nephews.
