Wildflowers in the Smoky Mountains. Mother loved flowers!...Her favorites included Azaleas, Hibiscus, Magnolia....and of course she loved getting Roses.  

A stop  for Peaches is a must on road trips. We love peaches! Mom made great cobblers with them. 

Some nice person helped with the camera ....So I was able to get in the picture too!

Soaking tired feet in the super cold creek! Our feet went numb pretty fast. Pigeon Forge.

Mother and I visited Nasa for the very last shuttle launch..."Atlantis" lifted off to end the shuttle program on July 8th, 2011.  To be honest, it was better on TV than in person.....but we were there.  Here is a pic of the Saturn V rocket on display

Living in Florida we appreciate a view like this! 

The show ends with a Salute To America. We really enjoyed it. Lots of great music. 

A ticket from one of the many shows Mother and I have seen on our trips to Pigeon Forge. 

The gift shop had lots of neat things and Yep!.....They sell Bushes Beans! Every variety you can imagine. LOL

You may as well get a pic with the Bushes truck while you are there.  Their family home is in the background. 

We wandered upon a museum for Bushes Beans. We thought it was funny and pulled over for a while. It was actually fun!  

One of our trips to the mountains of Tennessee. We soaked our feet in the very cold creek. 

Mom always had a sweet tooth,...and fresh Krispy Kreme doughnuts can not be passed up. 

Mother loved Christmas and always had to add to her Christmas Village collection. Here she is in Pigeon Forge with a new find.
