Lillian E Hill

She was born on August 8, 1915 in Palestine, WV to the late Gilbert and Norma Cheuvront.

Lillian was married to the late Walter E. Hill in 1936, and remained married for 43 years until his death. She is preceded in death by a son, Gary Wayne Hill, who died as an infant. She is also preceded in death by two brothers, Edwin Cheuvront and Charles Cheuvront.

Lillian grew up in Parkersburg, WV where she spent many years gardening and farming with her husband Walter. She has resided in Florida since her husband's passing in 1978. Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Mineral Wells, WV was blessed to have her as a faithful member for many years.

She was a prayer warrior for her family and friends, as well as total strangers. She leaves a legacy of faith for those who knew her. She was celebrated by her family and friends on her 100th birthday this summer.

She is survived by her son, Richard E. Hill; six grandchildren- Cathy Farahay, Matthew Hill, David Stewart, Shayne and James Rose, Scott Stewart, Sloane and Steve Emerson; 12 great Grandchildren- Ben, Jacquie, Ryan, Rachel, Kayla, Cameron, Nicole, Alicia, Shannon, Taylor and Daivd; 4 great great grandchildren- Gaige, Kylie, Cash and London. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at Evergreen South Cemetery in Parkersburg, WV, Saturday, February 6, 11:00a.m. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Sanford, FL.
