He was born August 22, 1919 in Toledo, Ohio to Louis Brooks and Ethel Weisman Brooks. Louis was a retired press operator at City Auto Stamping. He and his late wife Loretta moved to Deltona in 1987 from Toledo, Ohio. He was a US Air force Veteran of WWII, He was a member of the Lutheran Church o Deltona and the Boy Scout Society. Louis and his wife loved to travel and took many trips abroad and well in the states They also loved to go on cruises. He enjoyed fishing from his pontoon boat in the lake behind his home and was devoted to caring for his late mother. Their are no immediate local survivors. Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd., Orange City, Florida is in charge of arrangements.
