

He was the beloved husband of Mary Alice O'Brien and Claire Babiak and is survived by his son, Richard and daughter-in-law, Miranda of Lawrenceville, New Jersey; his son, George and daughter-in-law, Elaine of New York, NY; grandchildren Robert, Bonnie, Lisa and Michael and great-grandchildren, Bryton, Lauren, Allister, and Mateo.
While raising his family in Fair Lawn, New Jersey, Manuel traveled throughout Latin America and the Caribbean during his long and successful career as an executive sales manager. He and his wife, Mary Alice lived in Mexico City soon after they married and later in San Juan Puerto Rico, where he started his own import/export firm.
He moved to Deltona 35 years ago, where he founded Delsol of Deltona, a real estate development company.
Manuel was an avid philatelist throughout his life and served as president of the West Volusia Stamp Club. His interest in stamp collecting led to his volunteering as a Benjamin Franklin Stamp Club Coordinator at the Deltona Lakes Elementary School.
He will be missed by his family and many friends at The Cloisters in DeLand and throughout the world.
