She was born in Pulaski, Virginia on November 25, 1935. Margaret achieved her GED in her 60’s.
She was married to William Ritter on June 9th, 1961.
Margaret was a cafeteria worker for Freedom Elementary School in Orange City. She was a member of Four Towns Community Church and had a passion for flowers and gardening.
She is survived by son William “Rusty” Ritter (Laura), daughter Dawn Gillis (Chris), grandchildren Aaron, Dusten, Leah and Chase as well as great-grandchildren Maximus, Ethan and Jaxon.
A visitation for Margaret will be held Tuesday, August 2, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL 32763. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, August 3, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL 32763. A committal service will occur Wednesday, August 3, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at Deltona Memorial Gardens, 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL 32763. A reception will occur Wednesday, August 3, 2022 from 12:15 PM to 2:30 PM, 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL 32763.
