Margarita Rodriguez

Margarita Rodriguez, age 90, of Deltona, Florida passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023. Margarita was born in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico. She graduated from Dr. Agustin Stahl High School in Bayamon, PR.

She was married to Celestino Rodriguez on June 29, 1957 together they shared 48 wonderful years.

She was known for her warm smile and love for cooking, singing and dancing.

Margarita had a career as an Administrative Assistant. She was a member of Our Lady of The Lakes Catholic Church for many of years where she served as a Catechist for First Communion, Minister of the Eucharist and entertained at nursing homes throughout the community.

Margarita is survived by her children, Adele, Rossane and Robert. grandchildren; Samantha, J.R., Jordan, Bianca and Andre, one great grandchild Moses. Siblings; Maria Del Carmen and Lillian.

Her parents,husband and siblings; Sile, Ramon and Gammy all preceded her in death.

A visitation for Margarita will be held Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic, 1310 Maximilian St, Deltona, FL 32725.

A committal service will occur Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at Deltona Memorial Gardens, 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL 32763.

A reception will occur Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL 32763.
