Mrs. Barr was born on August 22, 1926 in Passadumkeag, Maine, the daughter of William and Gladys Sanders.
She is survived by her loving husband of sixty six years, Robert; sons, Russell (Ann), Roger (Elizabeth); daughter, Robin (Vern) Whissel; five grandchildren, Mary Costa, Michelle Barr, Ree Russell, Rebecca Currie, and Kristen Johnson; ten great-grandchildren, Harlee, Taylor, Lila Rose, Lizzy, Lucas, Sammy, Alex, Zackary, Madison, and Lia; two sisters, Jean Albert and Louise Decker and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her grandson, Jason Costa.
Marguerite was an active square dancer and belonged to the Starlight Promenades in DeBary.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, June 18th from 6 - 8 pm at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Boulevard, Orange City, FL. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 19th at 1 pm at the funeral home officiated by Reverend John McLaurin from the Deltona Presbyterian Church.
