Norma Jean Tucker

Norma J. Tucker, age 69, of Deltona, Florida, peacefully passed away on June 22, 2025. Born in Orlando, Florida, on July 17, 1955, Norma was a vibrant soul whose warmth, creativity, and love for life touched everyone she met.

Norma dedicated many years of her life as an Office Manager for Island Shutter Company, where she was admired for her professionalism and hardworking spirit. She was a passionate lover of art, finding joy in creating and appreciating beautiful things. Norma’s heart belonged to the ocean and the majestic Smokey Mountains, where she found peace and inspiration. An avid Elvis Presley fan, she loved singing along to her favorite tunes and sharing those special moments with family and friends.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her loved ones—whether camping in her beloved RV, fishing by the lake, or simply gathering around for family dinners and stories. Norma’s loving nature made her a cherished presence in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and all who knew her.

She was married to Horace "Pete" Tucker on November 4, 1992, until his passing in 2009. Norma is survived by her children, Michele Sherman, Paul Sherman II, Sherry Sherman, and Amanda Sherman. Her grandchildren—Bobby, Toby, Tyler, Celyna, Ceryka, Briana, and Little Paul—were the light of her life, and she leaves behind countless memories filled with love and joy.

A celebration of Norma’s life will be held at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, located at 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL 32763. Visitation will take place on Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. On Sunday, June 29, 2025, there will be a visitation from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by the funeral service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A committal service will follow from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM.

Norma will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her zest for life, her love for family, and the kindness she shared with everyone around her. Her spirit will continue to inspire, and her memory will remain a treasured part of all who knew her.
