Mr. Duva honorably served his country in the United States Navy. Upon discharge, he was a longtime volunteer firefighter in Lodi, New Jersey for many years where he served for twenty-five years and as the fire chief for four years. Later he worked at Tension Envelope in South Hackensack, New Jersey. He moved to Florida in 1991 where he worked for Florida Beverage and Ice for 18 years. He loved the Jets!
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather that will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Helen Duva; children, April (Gary) Reginald, Wendy (Bruce) Reginald, Nicole Duva, Angela (Joseph) Vullo, Frank (Cindy) Verdi; twelve grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 4-6 pm on Monday, December 6, 2021 at Deltona Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home with a celebration of life service following at 6 pm. Mr. Duva will be entombed with military honors at noon on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 12 pm at Deltona Memorial Gardens.
