Tio. Te extrañare mucho. I know you’re in heaven with Papi and all of our loved ones. Thank you for being such a GODLY example   I will always remember you building the 2nd story house in La Mirada with Papi and swimming in the pool when you both took breaks. Siempre te recordaré cuando tú h Titi cantaban “Te Vengo a decir”. You will be missed here on earth Tio but I know I will see  you again.  Descansa en los brazos de JESÚS. 

There are so many memories that I was able to have with you. From the long drives to California and back, to the endless hours working in the summer heat, to the many holidays. You were always there. I love you. We love you, and we will remember you till the time we can see each other again.

Tenemos muchos lindos recuerdos de Padro Juan y Alicia, tiempos cuando pastoreaban el Templo Bethesda en South Gate California, en actividades, servicios especiales, en el Coro, cuando ellos cantaban a duo “Divino Compañero” y “Te Vengo A Decir.”  Recuerdo cuando recien llegada a CA de NY, mi pspa me mandó a Lo Angeles a casa de los Torres por unos dias, y me llevaron a Disneylandia por primera vez.  Fueron muy hospitalarios siempre, cuando llevé a mi mama y hijita a Florida y nos quedamos unos dias con ellos tambien, siempre hicieron sentirmos como en nuestra propia casa. Siempre fueron ejemplos fieles del Señor, dedicados a la obra, y respaldaron y quisieron mucho a mi papá. Podemos mirar hacia adelante con la esperanza que tenemos de la gloria venidera, donde nos reuniremos de nuevo con nuestros seres queridos. Un abrazo para toda ls familia, en particular, para Alicia, Myrna y Melvin

I love and miss you old man. You helped raise and teach me the things I needed to know in life. I'm blessed to have had you as a grandfather and I thank god for having you in my life. Rest now and enjoy heaven. Don't forget to find a nice fishing hole and save me a pole so we can throw some lines when it's my time to join you.

Dear Tío, you were larger than life and with your gifted voice to preach the word of God you have touched the life of so many parishioners. You have left a legacy. I’m at peace knowing that we did a full circle in our relationship. I’m so blessed to have had the chance to speak to you and tell you how much I loved you and to say adios on the day of your passing. I love you very much and you will be greatly missed. Rejoice with the Lord and give my love to mami and papi and abuelo y abuela. Your niece

 Remember one time when first start dating Myrna he tried to scare me by grabbing a machete from by his chair. He had the biggest grin on his face. Will always remember that.
