Deltona, FL, age 55, died on April 5, 2014. He was born January 22, 1959 in Miami, FL. He is survived by his mother, Carol Winslow; father, Earl (Barbara) Chevalier; sister, Patricia (Kevin) Kulpinski; stepbrother James Winslow; nephew, Timothy McDonough; nieces, Jacque McDonough and Madison Kulpinski; great nephew, Jack B. Merrill; aunt, Dianne (Jorge) Diaz; great aunts, Elena Iannacone and Patricia Mc Kenney; many cousins.
Richard moved here from Charlotte, NC, where he lived for 18 years. He graduated from Florida School for the Deaf – FSDB – in St. Augustine. Richard enjoyed teaching sign language to hearing persons. He was predeceased by his stepfather, Vernon Winslow.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 9th at 12 pm at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Boulevard, Orange City, FL with Chaplain David Meyer officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind, Advancement Office, 207 N. San Marco Avenue,
