Robert T Barrett

Robert T. Barrett, 84, of Deltona FL, born May 7, 1939 to the late John and Dorothy Barrett in Northampton, MA and called home on March 14, 2024. He grew up in Hatfield and Hadley. He graduated in 1958 from Hopkins Academy. He went on to serve a 28 year Air Force career, retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant, receiving many awards and honors.

He then served as a Church Business Administrator at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Florissant, MO for 16 years before moving to Florida. He was deeply involved in bowling with the youth and adults. Bob was inducted into the Florida West Volusia Bowling Hall of Fame. He enjoyed maintaining his high school Class of 1958 where a-bouts with annual rosters. He leaves his wife, Pauline of 56 years; son James (Carla) of Belleville IL; daughter Janet of Deltona; a brother Ronald of Hadley, MA, nephews Michael Barrett of Arizona and Lee Bray of Worthington, MA.

He was preceded by sister Dorothy Bray; brother John, nieces Dawn Castro and Bonnie Landigran of Chesterfield.

A funeral service for Robert will be held Monday, March 18, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL 32763. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Florence, MA at a later date.
