Robert Patrick Delaney

Robert was born September 4, 1947 in Dubois, PA to Jane Tost and Thomas Delaney. Robert graduated from Central Catholic High School in Dubois, Pennsylvania. He married Stephanie Kapolka on October 9, 1967 and enjoyed a career as a Field Engineer in the Cellular business with Bell South (AT&T). Robert served as a Sergeant in the Marine Corps from 1966-1970, working as Crew Chief in Marine Helicopter Squadron One (HMX-1) on a VH-3A Sea King helicopter responsible for transporting the President and other dignitaries.

Robert is survived by his wife Stephanie of 54 years. He is also survived by his children: Erik, Marc (wife Amber), Luke (wife Tracy), and Noah; his grandchildren Ashley (husband Adam), Patric, Samantha, Briana, Maria, Daniel, Jacob; and his great granddaughter Scarlett. He is also survived by his sister Mary Ellen.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Joyce and Donna, and his brother Tommy. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents William and Annie Tost on his mother's side, and Patrick James Delaney and Mary Frances Beahan.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 7th, 2022 at 10:00am at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 26 Dogwood Trail, Debary, FL 32713. A Graveside Committal with Military Honors will be held on Saturday, May 7th, 2022 at 12:30pm at Deltona Memorial Gardens, 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL 32763
