Robert Harry Wagner

Robert was born May 22, 1938 in Syracuse, New York. He was a graduate of Chittenango High School. He was a long time resident of Bridgeport, New York where he raised his family. He faithfully served his country and retired from the United States Air Force. He also worked as a railroad engineer for Conrail where he also retired. He spent time with the volunteer Fire Department in Bridgeport, NY. He moved to Florida in 2001 where he resided in Brooksville.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn Wagner; grandson, Aaron Carter; granddaughter, Julie Carter; brother, James Wagner; and stepson, Frank Gomer.

He is survived by his wife of seventeen years, Josephine Wagner; children, Tom Wagner, Barbara Ottoway, Ken (Maria) Wagner, Karen Wagner Carter, Ruth (Norbert) Carter, and Teri Wagner Mages; siblings, Richard (Camille) Wagner and Kay (Charles) Moran; nine grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.

Visitation for Robert will be held Thursday, October 14, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL 32763, followed by a celebration of life service at 3 pm.

Inurnment with military honors will be held in Deltona Memorial Gardens at a later date.
