Ruth Downs, born on April 30, 1924 in Buffalo NY age 86 passed away on Nov 19, 2010 in Orange City. Ruth was a member of Our Lady of Lakes Catholic Church for over 27 years, a member of the Elks Club Ladies Auxiliary and was a retired School teacher for St Mary’s Catholic School in Swormville NY.
She is survived by her 2 sons Michael and Tom Downs, 4 brothers Joseph, George, Philip and Raymond Funk and 2 sisters Rita Trowbridge and Lucianne Tee.
Friends will be received on Tuesday Nov 23 from 2-4 & 6-8pm at the Deltona Memorial Funeral Home 12 95 Saxon Blvd Orange City FL, Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wed Nov 24 at 10 am in Our Lady of Lakes Catholic Church.
