Sandra was born on December 6, 1948, the daughter of the late Edward and Rose Zarella Visconti. She graduated from Medford High School in 1966 and later went on to attend respiratory therapy school. She worked as a respiratory therapist for nearly 10 years before moving to Florida in 1984. Shortly after moving to Florida, she began her career with the Volusia County school system, where she worked as a teacher assistant for over 20 years before retiring in December 2010. She most recently worked at Spirit Elementary in Deltona. She was a happy, caring and giving individual, who always put others before herself.
She is survived by her daughter, Rebeka Rollins of Deltona, FL; her step-mother, Florence DeNicola of Deltona, FL; and her aunt, Jeanette Haddad of Medford, MA.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 20, 2012 at 11:00 am followed by entombment at Deltona Memorial Gardens in Orange City with Father Peter Henry of St. Ann's Catholic Church officiating.
