Stephen George Parker, son of Eric George Parker and Joan Parker was born August 17, 1952. Armed with a happy go lucky attitude, he attacked life like any good Irishman would, with a beer in one hand and a clenched fist in another. Stories of his youth would include bouts of fighting, law breaking and general mischief.
As he grew older, he met a wonderful woman, Kathleen Farrell, who for some odd reason, did not run the other way when approached by this hooligan. Being the genius that he was, he decided to keep this one around and marry her. They had a son together and continued through the journey of life with its trials and tribulations.
Eventually the mad Irishman calmed down and realized that he was not the center of the universe and that there are other players in the world that he had no control over. Once this realization occurred, Steve’s heart was set free to become the gentle man that he was always meant to be.
He then set out to help others find the way of peace and goodwill through fellowship. Reaching out to others and guiding them along the path that would lead them to the same epiphany that would allow them to pave the way forward for others.
Stephen will be remembered by his loving wife, Kathleen Parker, his son, Eric Parker, his daughter-in-law, Janice Parker, his two granddaughters, Emily and Riley Parker, as well as the multitude of loved ones and friends that he has helped and loved along the way.
