Ted Price was born in Atlanta, Georgia on March 15, 1939. He left us to join his sons on Saturday, July 29, 2017. Ted is predeceased by his four sons, his parents, and his siblings. His survivors are his wife of 59 ½ years, Jo, his daughter Desiree and her husband, Chester, and his three grandchildren, Emily (26), Kelsey (25), and Christopher (21).
Ted served his country in the Navy for four years before working for the Federal Aviation Administration. He retired after 37 years of serving with his FAA family. Over those years he was proud to have obtained his commercial pilots license with instrument rating. Ted was also a devoted member of the Golden Hawks RC Club in Deland. Ted empowered his sons by providing them with love, support, and all the tools to allow them to live full lives against the odds of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. He was a perfect father and a very loving, devoted husband. Our world will never be the same. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to EndDuchenne.org. The family invites you to join us for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 11:00am at the Price home.
