Mr. Franco was born on July 28, 1935 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the son of Jose and Maria Gandia Franco. He was united in marriage to Carmen Dipini for 57 years. He was a garment cutter for a clothing manufacturer prior to his retirement. He was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church in Deltona and he enjoyed bowling.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Carmen; two sons, Victor (Aida) Franco, Jr. and Edward (Dottie) Franco; two daughters, Carmen (Frank) Zambrana and Noemi (Joe) Nieves; seven grandchildren, Tanya, Edward, Jr., Victoria, Frank, Jr., Venus, Mellisa and Joey; six great-grandchildren, Jolly, Lynette, Samantha, Khalil, Jazmyn and Edenrose; and a brother, Richard Franco.
Friends may call on Thursday, January 31st from 4 - 7 pm at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Boulevard, Orange City, FL, PH: 386-775-4260. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm at the funeral home with Father Kenny Aquino of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church officiating. Cremation will follow services.
