Mr. William Beard

Mr. Beard was born on October 8, 1931 in Takoma Park, Maryland, the son of Willie A. and Fay Anderson Beard. He was united in marriage to Janice Cole. He was a certified dental technician. He served in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife, Janice; three daughters, Cynthia Beard (Jack Hoagland) of Maryland, Dawn Blackwelder and Donna (Robert) Metty both of Deltona, FL; a daughter-in-law, Susan Beard of Maryland; twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; a brother, Carlton (Sally) Beard of Kentucky and two nieces, Kim (Bobby) Stevenson and Melanie Logan both of Kentucky.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Wayne and William, Jr. and a sister, Francis Beard.

Friends may call on Thursday, September 23rd from 6 - 9 pm at the Community Life Worship Center, 740 DeBary Avenue, Deltona. Funeral Services will be held at the church on Friday afternoon at 1:00 pm with Pastors Mark and Phyllis Gregory officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Deltona Memorial Gardens in Orange City, Florida. Following the graveside service, there will be a gathering at the family home at 982 North Fairbairn Drive, Deltona.
