He worked as an Aircraft Machinist, a job he truly loved.
He met and later married his wife Cynthia in Brooklyn N.Y. on March 24, 1961. They lived there until they both retired and moved to Florida in 1990.
He is survived by his wife Cynthia; their children Gary Latimer(and family); Kevin Britt(and family); Deborah Ien(and family); And Willie's children Donna Swann(and family); Willistine Britt(and family); Debra Britt(and family); Laura Britt(and family) Eric Britt(and family); Randolph Britt(and family) and many grandchildren.
At 77 years of age Willie saw the need to make some serious changes in his life and was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on October 6, 2001. This he did after learning about God's beautiful purpose for the earth, and His plan to rid the earth of all its problems including sickness, old age and even death. (Revelation 21:4; John 5:28, 29; Isaiah 25:8) He had the hope that one day soon the earth would be cleansed and filled with happy, healthy people. (Psalm 37:10, 11, 29, 34)
In fact it brought him great joy to know that even those who have fallen asleep in death will rise again in what the Bible calls the resurrection of the dead. (Acts 24:15) They will have an opportunity to live forever on this earth in peaceful and happy conditions.
Willie is in the best place possible right now-safe in God's memory.
We await that beautiful day when we can see him again.
