Anna, aka "Betty", Elizabeth Beaudoin, 86, of Middleburg, Florida, passed away on April 21, 2021 at her home. She was born to her parents Vorris Bouffard and Edith Bicknell Bouffard, on June 8, 1934 in Providence, R.I.
Betty met Henry J Beaudoin in 1948 and they were married on July 8, 1950 in Providence, R.I. Together they raised 5 children: Norman, aka “Teri”, Denise Wright (Ron), Kathy Church, Charlene Padgett, and Richard Beaudoin. Betty worked at various jobs throughout her life including one as Co-owner of a dress store located in Coventry R.I. with her sister Doris Del Sesto for several years. They loved going to Boston to shop for dresses and accessories for the store. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting, crafts and spending time with her family and friends. The Christmas season was her favorite time of the year and she loved creating beautiful displays and decorations each year inside and outside their home. She would bake cookie trays with many different delights. She was also a very avid Boston Red Sox fan collecting much memorabilia of the team.
Betty is survived by her husband of 70 plus years, Henry Beaudoin, 5 children as mentioned above, 3 grandchildren: Michael Machado, Dawn Candy, Christopher Padgett (Alisa); 3 step-granddaughters and 10 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews including God-child/nephew John, aka "Skip", Del Sesto.
She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her stepfather Victor Moquin, 2 sisters Norma McVay and Doris Del Sesto, Godchild, Joseph Beaudoin and several other family members.
The family has entrusted Hardage-Giddens Rivermead with the arrangements. Visitation will be at Hardage-Giddens Rivermead Funeral Home at 127 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park FL on Monday, April 26, 2021 from 5-6 p.m. for family only and 6-8 p.m. for family & friends. The Funeral Service will take place at the Jacksonville National Cemetery Committal Shelter located at 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at 12:30 p.m. Graveside service will follow for the family. Grandson and Preacher Christopher Padgett will officiate the ceremony. Masks are required.
