Barbara was born in Savannah, Georgia and grew up in Jacksonville. She currently resided in White Springs, FL after traveling around the country and loving life.
Survivors include her husband, Richard A.; sister, Yvonne Harrington; daughter, Cynthia Gibson (Rick); son Daniel Payne (Michelle); four step daughters, 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of her life will be held at a future date.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that a donation be made in her name to the American Lung Association.
