Charles Dennis Chapman

Dennis Chapman, 79, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on December 5, 2019. He was born in Chapman, Kentucky and retired from CSX Railroad. He loved the Lord, served Him for 54 years, and served as a deacon at First Coast Baptist Church. He also was a private pilot and an avid golfer. Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Karen Rose Chapman; 2 daughters: Cheri Denise (Andy) Coan and Susan Lynnae Feltner; 4 grandchildren: Dennis Ross (Natasha) Coan, Alicia Denise (Justin) Bullock, Matthew Robert Feltner and Noah Chapman Feltner; 3 great grandchildren: Elloree Rose Coan, Ava Denise Bullock and Bennett Henry Bullock; best friends: Jim and Betsy Menard; and our much loved dachshund Winston. Homegoing Celebration will be held at 11 am, Monday, December 9, 2019 at First Coast Baptist Church, 7587 Blanding Blvd, Jacksonville, FL with visitation held 1 hour prior to service from 10 to 11 am. Burial will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park, Middleburg, FL. Arrangements by HARDAGE-GIDDENS RIVERMEAD FUNERAL HOME, 127 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park, FL.
