Daniel Keith Dupree

Daniel Keith Dupree, 67, passed away on December 22, 2025. He was bom in Naples, Italy to the late, Hubert (‘Duke’) and Ann Dupree. Daniel was an agent for State Farm Insurance Company (Dupree Insurance, Inc.) for 35 years.

He was pre-deceased by his son, Joshua A. Dupree and is survived by his wife of 47 years, Deborah Caroline Dupree; daughter, Stephanie Dupree Polidoro; brother, Hugh Douglas Dupree; and grandson, Hugh Wallace Polidoro.

Danny graduated from N.B. Forrest High School, Jacksonville in 1976. After a first year at Georgia Southern, Statesboro, he took time out to do an Outward-Bound expedition in the Southwest and reflect on his future. That led him to three years of service in the Army in the 82nd Airborne at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Returning from the Army to Jacksonville, he gained experience of the insurance business in his father’s office while continuing college and enjoying married life with Debi and the start of their family with the births of Joshua and Stephanie. On finishing his degree, State Farm appointed him to his first agency.

Danny loved Debi and his son and daughter with his whole heart, always putting his marriage and his family first. When illness came to his parents, each in turn, his support for them until their passing was remarkable and exemplary. He loved his many years in the insurance business and was ever grateful to his loyal office staff for their service. He was very thankful for his association with State Farm and the fellowship of so many colleagues and friends he made in the company.

Memorial services will be held 11 AM, January 16, 2026, at Grace Episcopal Church, 245 Kingsley Ave., Orange Park, Florida. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Grace Episcopal Church, marked for the flower guild.
