Ernesto M. De Jesus, 81, passed away on January 3, 2016. He was born April 25, 1934 in the Philippines and resided in Orange Park, Florida. He loved playing golf and bird hunting back when he was in the Philippines. He worked most of his life in the United States as housekeeping staff both in hotels and nursing facilities. One of the fondest memories he had with his kids was when he comes home weekly from work and he would always leave coins on his dirty pants' pocket and all his kids would rush and compete in taking his laundry in search of the coins. Mr. Ernesto is survived by his wife Yolanda De Jesus, sons; Erwin C. De Jesus and Enrique C. De Jesus; daughters; Florebel J. Cardona, Jasmin J. Cardona, Sor Analiza C. De Jesus and Cecile J. Llanes. A visitation will be held 6-8 PM Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at HARDAGE-GIDDENS RIVERMEAD FUNERAL HOME, 127 Blanding Blvd Orange Park, Florida 32073and funeral mass is 11 AM Friday, January 8, 2016 at St. Catherine's Catholic Church, 1649 Kingsley Ave Orange Park, FL.
