I will forever miss you pop-pop, Even if I didn't know you for the longest amount of time, I knew you were always there for me and you always love me even when you're not here and I will forever love you too and one day I'll be with you.

Chris,  Even though its been 20 or more years since we have seen Glenn and you we are saddened at the loss of such a great guy. Glenn was in the NDT lab with me on the Hunley and at Little Creek.  I was his chief and recommended him when he applied for LDO. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

We were truly saddened to hear about Glenn.  He had such a great, outstanding personality and we loved seeing your both on Goldwing rides.   Chris, please know you and your family are in our hearts and prayers.

 My prayers and heart are in Florida with My Aunt and cousins. I have not seen them is so many years but they are my family and I love them. Uncle Glenn was a great guy who served his country, and raised a wonderful family. Heaven has gotten one of the best. Rest in peace Uncle Glenn. It is with a heavy heart that I send you this message.  There are truly no words that I can say to make your grief any less, but know that Glenn was one of the best men I have ever known. He spoke about each of you on a daily basis when we were roommates. Glenn was the proudest and most humble person.  I will miss our conversations. He was a true shipmate and will be missed by all. I will continue to pray for each of you during your time of loss.

From family to family,  you will be missed.   Hope,  prayers,  happiness and blessings to the entire Vopper family.

Even though we've only known Glenn for a short time we will miss seeing him & chatting with him.  Both Chris & Glenn really made us feel so welcome when we moved here.  When we needed help or advice Glenn was always there. We shared oranges & cookies.  Our thoughts, love & prayers are with his family and we are here if you need us.

May God provide comfort to the entire family. Glenn will be missed and in all our thoughts and prayers. The passing of time will never diminish the blessed memories of his life.

To the entire Vopper family, I hope you take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.  Even though we wish he was still here on earth walking amongst us, just know that Heaven is now a better place because he is there.  It truly was a pleasure knowing Glenn and he always brought a smile to my face when he spoke of his Wife, children and all his grandchildren.  I smiled because he smiled at the enjoyment you all brought to him and that is what made him the amazing man he was.

What a mighty person.  I only knew Glenn for a short while but he made such a significant impact.  I'm so happy to have shared a portion of life with him.  I only wish it was longer.  You are missed already my friend. The entire Vopper family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Glen was a true professional who loved his family. His work space is covered with family pictures. Glen will be missed! He contributed so much to our team and the U.S. Navy! I salute you shipmate!

It has been my pleasure to work with Glenn both at BAE and SERMC.  He was a true gentleman.  I loved to hear him talk about his wonderful family and how proud he was of all of you.  Losing him so young was such a shock and my deepest sympathies go to everyone who knew him and especially his beloved wife, children, and grandchildren.  He truly loved you all.
