Guy Wallace Bottoms

Retired ADI Guy Wallace Bottoms Sr., 63, born on July 2, 1957 and passed away on Tuesday April 13, 2021. Guy was a resident of Jacksonville, FL at the time of passing. He is survived by his wife of IO years, Debra Bottoms; daughter Katheryn (Thomas) Hall; sons Guy Wallace Bottoms Jr., Jacob (Delaney) Bottoms, and David (Aimee) Bottoms; four grandchildren Brandon (Paige) Hall, Evelyn Bottoms, Nora Bottoms, and Freya Bottoms; one great grandchild Jade Hall; sister Madlin (Sam) Joyner; nephews Joseph Mills and Richard Mills; cousins Claudia (Zane) Hickey and Shelley Forsythe Scarborough; longtime family friend Tristan Lee Obenshain; father-in-law George Smith; sister-in-law Suzanne (Don) Reott. He is preceded in death by his parents Willie Joe (Gertie Lee) Bottoms.

He was a man of many talents and skills. Family meant the world to him and taught his children how to be compassionate and caring. Guy was also a hardworking individual, whom fostered countless long lasting friendships that displayed his ability and selfless service to his country and family. He will be greatly missed among his peers and has left behind a long lasting legacy that shall stand the test of time.

A committal service for Guy will be held Friday, July 2, 2021 at 12:30 PM at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32218.
