James Larkin

James was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Dominic and Mary Catherine Larkin and attended school there until he joined the Navy on 20 October 1950. He served until 31 May 1977, when he retired as Chief Warrant Officer 4, Aircraft Maintenance Officer.

He married his childhood sweetheart Celeste on 24 November 1950, who preceded him to Heaven by 12 days after 70 years of marriage. It is a blessing that they will be greeting the Lord and their family members together.

James and Celeste will be laid to rest together at the Jacksonville National Cemetery on 4 December 2020, in a private ceremony.

A Celebration of their life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make a memorial donation to UC Davis MIND Institute, 2825 50th Street, Sacramento, CA 95817 in honor of James and Celeste.
