To Joans Family - I am so in shock not knowing Joan was even ill - as we talked regular on email and FB - We went to school together in stanhope and netcong and i remember always being at the Steiments home laughing and playing and running around the streets to catch up to the gang - Joan you were a sweetheart and always an open heart to all people - may god keep you at peace, warm and remember to look down upon all those who love your RIP dear Friend

Aunt Joanie was one of the kindest, caring woman I have had the pleasure to call my family. You will be missed. The world will not be the same without you. God speed Aunt Joanie give my love to Uncle Tommy. I love you. ❤️ 💔

Joan was a long-time member of our local American Society of Military Comptrollers (ASMC) and our Scholarship Chairperson.  Joan was a staple at all our meetings and events.  Her contribution to our chapter will be missed dearly, along with her sweet soul and beautiful heart.  The Exec Board met for Christmas last year and we will all treasure our last time together with our dear friend Joan! 
God’s Blessings and Peace be with Joan’s family and may the love of family and friends comfort them during this difficult time.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family.  I knew Joan from our membership in the American Society of Military Comptrollers.  She was such a sweet lady.  She will be sorely missed.  Rest in Peace.

I have known Joan for many years being a member and a board member of our local American Society of Military Comptroller’s (ASMC) Greater Jacksonville Chapter. I am grateful to have so many memories of monthly luncheons, Christmas  luncheons and our last attendance at the ASMC PDI in Anaheim California. Joan was such a caring person and I will miss her greatly.  My condolences to Joan’s family. 

We have great memories of Joan working together at Helicopter One and being friends outside of work. So sorry for for your lost.

Joan was preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years, Thomas McNeish and her daughter-in-law, Anna McNeish, andis survived by her son, Christopher McNeish; daughter, Mary McNeish; sister, Marjory Steinmetz; 7 grandchildren: Jeremiah (Carrie), Blaine (Doug), Kristi (Dave), Caitlin, Zachary (Anna), Kevin (Amber) and Bryan (Tricia); 10 great-grandchildren and a host of loving family and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
