There are no words to describe my heart break for Bret and Charles. I had the pleasure of knowing Mrs Joanne for almost 3 years. She took me in and made me feel welcome and loved. I am so sorry for the loss of such a beautiful woman.. Bret my heart goes out to you and your dad. Know you are in my thoughts and prayers and I am always here. I love you both and you will be in my prayers! 

I have a few memories that I would like to share. Along time ago, Joanne invited Kim and I and Chris and Jason over. It actually was the Fourth of July. We had a lot of fun. There was a lot of food and desserts. They even had a inground pool.

Kim and I and Chris and Jason bowled up at Jax Lanes. Several times Joanne would come up and watch us.

Joanne and I always found time to talk on the phone and to catch up with different things that were going on. 

At times, we did get together at my house to watch the Jaguars play.    Good times

From the day I met Joanne I knew we would be forever friends. She was a PA girl like myself except older and wiser. Joanne was funny, smart and told it like it (was)/(is). Chuck, Bret and Joanne invited us into their family. Joanne was like a mom to me and Grandmom to Ryan. She meant the world  to me! I miss her deeply. She is with the pirates now smiling and in charge! Love, Nicole and Ryan ❤️

What began nearly 30 years ago at Mandarin Oaks (PTA and Co workers)became so much more over the years.  For those who were blessed to have Joanne in their life ,we all know she was the most giving, loving, loyal and devoted friend anyone could have. I will miss her more than words can express.

I met Joanne when we moved to Florida in 1993.  She was the neighbor across the street and our boys and Bret became good friends and still remain so.  Joanne did have a loud “bark” to her but deep down she was one of the most devoted and loving friend anyone would be glad to have.   I will truly miss all our times together.   

I shared many wonderful experiences with Jo. She was a  Wonderful friend and neighbour. You will be missed Jo. RIP ❤️

Memorial Service

Joanne was preceded in death by brother; Scott J Temple (Rosie), parents; Scott W Temple and Josephine (Corrigan) Temple, and is survived by her beloved and cherished by her husband; Charles Stickney and their son; Bret Stickney, brother; Terrence M Temple (Judy) and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
