Mark Ernest Stockburger

Mark Ernest Stockburger, 58, passed away December 23, 2017. He was born July 25, 1959 in Los Angeles, California and resided in Orange Park, Florida. Mark and Judy were married on August 11, 1990 while living in Fallbrook, California. Their 27 year journey of love and commitment to each other and to God took them from Fallbrook, California to Billings, Montana to Reno, Nevada to Des Moines, Iowa and then finally to Orange Park, Florida where they pastored at Wesconnett Church for 10 years. Mark loved reading, preaching and teaching the Word of God. His deepest desire was for everyone to know that no matter what their background was, Jesus loves them. At the beginning of 2017 Mark was diagnosed with advanced non-small cell lung cancer. He fought a good fight throughout the year to survive here on Earth. Mark always enjoyed opening presents in the days leading up to Christmas day. God blessed him with the best present a believer in Jesus Christ could ever get, and He gave it to him early...his salvation made complete in Heaven. Mr. Stockburger is survived by his loving wife of 27 years; Judy Stockburger, son; Devon Stockburger, mother; Betty Stockburger and siblings; Wayne Stockburger, Juanita Harris and Lloyd Stockburger. A church service will be held 10:45 AM Sunday December 31, 2017 at Wesconnett Church, 5829 Blanding Blvd Jacksonville, Florida 32244.
