It is with great sadness that the family of Mitchell Joseph McCoy announces his passing on Saturday, January 6, 2018, at the age of 26 years. Mitchell will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Kayla and his children, Anabella and Nicholas (due to arrive soon after his passing). Mitchell will also be fondly remembered by his mother, Janie Lisa (Shawn) Jewell, his brothers Crystian and Cameron Jewell, his father Mitchell D. (Lisa Marie) McCoy, his Grandmother Regina (Crews) Spurger, his Grandfather Joseph McCoy, and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and loved ones.
Mitchell’s life journey began on 13 September 1991. As a boy Mitchell was always very advanced. At the age of 3 he could have full adult conversations that all who talked with him would adore. As well as his high intellect, Mitchell also enjoyed sports. He loved playing football. He was on little league teams and played varsity for high school. Along with football, he also loved turning left on a dirt track. As a young boy he was sponsored in go kart racing. He always had his brothers there to cheer him on and be so proud of him.
In the next chapter of Mitchell’s life, he met his lovely wife Kayla and had his daughter, Anabella. Mitchell’s smile was never bigger than when he spent time with his family. He was so excited for his Son, Nicholas to be born. When he spoke about them all, the room would overflow with light.
As we close the last chapter of Mitchell’s life, let us all remember how he was an amazing Son, a wonderful Husband and an incredible Father. Mitchell would not want us to not be sad, but celebrate our time together, never forget the memories we have shared with him and smile with joy when we remember.
A Celebration of Mitchell ’s life will be held on 11 AM Saturday, March 3rd 2018, at HARDAGE-GIDDENS RIVERMEAD FUNERAL HOME, 127 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park, FL. Please post words of comfort at www.hardage-giddensrivermead.com.
