Richard J. Doty, 90, passed away on March 20, 2011. He was born in Rome, New York and was a member of Shores United Methodist Church as well as a veteran from the US Marine Corp. Mr. Doty was predeceased by his wife, Fredericka Elenore Doty and is survived by his son, Richard Doty; daughter, Lorraine Colvin and 3 grandchildren. Funeral services were private and burial of ashes will take place at Jacksonville National Cemetery at a later date.
