Teofilo Bagos Nino, age 93, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025. He was born in Burgos, Philippines to the late Feliciano Nino and Leonora Bagos. Teofilo served his country proudly, retiring from the US Navy.
Mr. Nino is predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Brenda Nino and is survived by his loving wife, Julita Nino; children: Cecil Nino, Diana (John) Wood and Teofilo (Melynda) Nino Jr.; grandchildren: Brandon Nino, Jonathan Wood, Sarrina (Sean) Lamb, Julia (Max) Ozenberger, Nicolas Nino and Jennifer Nino; great-grandchild, Adeline; and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at Mary Queen of Heaven, 9401 Staples Mill Drive, Jacksonville, FL with visitation held 1 hour prior to service at the church. Burial will be 11:30 AM, Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL (LANE 3) with full military honors.
