Thomas Matthew Burney

Thomas Matthew Burney, 78, went home to be with our Lord on Saturday, June 23, 2018. He was born October 4, 1939, to John and Willie Maude Burney of Eastman, Georgia. He was a Master Carpenter by trade and spent his life in residential framing, as did his father and older brother before him. Thomas was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, his older brother Billy, younger brother Ronnie, and younger sister Barbara. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jane Burney; three daughters, Tammy Santora (Brad), Tanya Atkinson (Robert), Terri Leduc (Will), and their families to include three grandchildren, Shane Santora, Jackson Santora, and Brooke Leduc. Funeral services in celebration of his life will be held 3 PM Saturday June 30, 2018 at HARDAGE-GIDDENS RIVERMEAD FUNERAL HOME 127 Blanding Blvd Orange Park, FL 32073.
