Walter Nelson Jr., age 88, of Orange Park, Florida passed away on Monday, February 19, 2024. He was born in Brooklyn, New York to the late, Lillian Rich and Walter Nelson, Sr.

He worked for Southern Bell - AT&T for 55 years, until he retired.

Walter was predeceased by his parents; Lillian Rich and Walter Nelson, Sr., and is survived by his wife; Norma, son; Mark Nelson, Sr., daughter; Lisa (Wes) Thompson, grandchildren; Nicole Nelson, Mark Nelson, Jr., Chase Thompson and Hunter Thompson.

Memorial Services will be held 11 AM, Friday, March 8th, 2024 at HARDAGE-GIDDENS RIVERMEAD FUNERAL HOME, 127 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park, FL. Please post words of comfort at www.hardage-giddensrivermead.com.
