Dear Pam, Joey and Roger:

I am praying the Comforter be with you in this most difficult time. 

Don’t think of her as gone away
her journey’s just begun,
life holds so many facets
this earth is only one.
Just think of her as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years.
Think how she must be wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.
And think of her as living
in the hearts of those she touched…
for nothing loved is ever lost
and she was loved so much.

Aunt Bernel was a cheerful, fun-loving lady who was full of life. Her smile could light up a room and it was infectious. She made everyone around her happy. Whether it was a funny joke, her positive attitude, or her big smile, she was a delight to be around.

Farewell Sis. You fought a good fight and won the race. You left a legacy that will be read through the generations, current and to come. You left a mark in our hearts, that nothing will ever erase. It is indelible in our hearts.

You are a rare gem and will forever be cherished.

Our hearts go out to you, and we are praying for your strength and comfort as you grieve the passing of your mom.  Shelvis and I are grateful that we were in Chicago and able to be with you during this sad time. You have our deepest condolences, our continued prayers and our support throughout your bereavement and beyond.   We are also praying blessings on Aunt Sis's spirit now that she is among the ancestors with her parents and all her brothers & sisters.
