Billie M. King

Billie (Nana) King, age 79, of Bourbonnais, IL, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024. Billie dedicated her whole life to her family. She had a slightly warped sense of humor; meaning she could always find the funny in even the most daunting of situations. The loved she shared with not only her family and friends, but also with her students was always unconditional. Her kind sprite and bright blue eyes could make even a truly lost and devastated person feel completely at home. With her absence the world will be just a bit darker.

Preceded in death by her husband, Joe (Papa) King and her beloved sons: Mickey and Phil Grubermann; Billie is survived by her best friend and sister by choice, Debbie Covington; sister, daughter, Jean Grubermann and grandchildren: Alicia Grubermann, David (Alyssa) Grubermann, Phillip Grubermann, Angelina Sawicki, Krystina Jones, Ashley Walker, Nicole Litwin, Timothy Grubermann, Matthew Grubermann and great grandchildren: Bentley & Blake D'angelo, Grayson Cripe Grubermann, Robert & Annabelle Grubermann, George Litwin, Aria & Brinley Jones and Emily & Daniel Grubermann.
