Mary Teresa Bush

She died peacefully of natural causes while surrounded by her children. Born October 15, 1932 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Mary and Joseph Conneen. Elder sister to Louis Conneen, Joan Gierat, and Robert Conneen. Married to Robert J. Bush Sr. , she had 7 children and resided in Dolton, Illinois from 1958 till she was widowed in 1986. Mary was a loving mother who taught her children to be kind and forgiving. She was a devout catholic who loved the Lord and raised her children to do the same. The family attended mass weekly at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Riverdale, Il. Moved to Florida in 1995, she lived with family until her death. Survived by her sister, Joan Gierat, her children Patricia Hendrickson-Garcia (Mike), Cynthia Komarek (Igor, late), Victoria Lebowitz (Bill), Wendy Terpstra (Jerry), Robert Bush (Deborah), Gina Gutierrez (George), and Diane Boyd (Rich) as well as 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Funeral wake to be held on Friday September 19, 2025 from 4pm – 8pm at Orland Funeral Home. 9900 W. 143rd St. Orland Park, Illinois 60462. Funeral mass on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 9am at Orland Funeral Home Followed by procession to Holy Cross cemetery for internment. 801 Michigan City Rd. Calumet City, Illinois 60409
