Lynn, I am sorry to hear of Shawn's passing.  I pray your happy memories will help ease the grief your family is going through.  Shawn put on a gruff exterior but was really a caring person.

In your afterlife continue to guide Vinny to become the man you always wanted him to be.

Lynn, I am so so so sorry to hear this news 💔💔 my thoughts and prayers are with you and the fam 🙏🏾🙏🏾 I can’t believe it - it was only last week I was talking about you to my friend and how when COVID was over I needed to take a trip back to the US to visit and thank you guys properly. You all played such an important role in my life, and I will be forever grateful for what you did for us that Summer - especially with your basement flooding and everything!

Will never forget Shawn telling us everyday to quit and work with him instead as we were making less than a dollar a day (if that😂) and our trip to White Castle after taking me to the hospital which I was buzzing about as I thought it was a made up place in the movie Harold and Kumar get the munchies!

He was such a great person and really looked out for me and Dimple when he really didn’t need to (both of you did❤️❤️). Such a huge loss. Sending so much love and thinking of you all Xxx

So many special memories! Although we moved away when Shawn was so young…later in life we had precious times together! From your family making the trek (yep…kids in the back of a a camper shell on the back of a pick up truck) for my wedding in California…to multiple visitations in Illinois, to our last visit on the beach in California…we always laughed, bantered and shared so much love! I loved you like a brother! You will always be in my heart!
To Lynn, Vinnie, Nick, Rachel and Penelope….I am so sorry for your loss! May all of your precious memories help carry you through this most difficult time! 

Shawn was a tough nut to crack when it came to business opportunities. He challenged you to always be better. He is a man of great integrity. I didn’t know him that well personally but I’m sure he was an outstanding person. I will miss being challenged by Shawn Matkovich. RIP brother. 

Shawn was more than a good friend to me. He was more like an older brother/mentor. He was always giving me advise on how to better myself. I will always remember the good times we shared together, the stories, and the laughter. My heart goes out to Lynn and family. May you Rest In Peace my friend.

Oh Lynn, so very sad to hear this news.  My heart breaks for you.  Sending my most sincere sympathy.  

Shawn and I were admittedly good friends working together for many years. We shared much about our personal lives with each other including our goals, stuggles, interests in motorcycles and cars, and devotion to our children and families. My thoughts and prayers are with all of his family and friends while we come to terms with this tragic loss.
