Sherry and I were friends in high school. I am saddened and unpleasantly surprised to find out of her passing. Our condolences and deepest sympathies to both the Brucato and Howard families.

Sherry and I were class mates at Chicago-Kent for 3 semesters, then I moved away and transferred to another law school.  She was always a bright light and cheerful person.  It was a pleasure to reconnect with her on face book and actually get to know her better and see her beautiful family.  As a non-traditional student, starting at 37, Sherry was much younger than me and so to me it seems like she was just beginning, such a loss.  My condolences to all of her family and close friends.

 I'm so deeply socked and saddened by this news. My deepest sympathies go to all of you who are hurting. Sherry was one of a kind. I'm very sorry for your loss. I pray for healing upon the family. Sherry,  may you rest in peace.

Sherry, rest in peace our dear friend. You made all of our lives better. We were so lucky to have had you in our lives. Thank you for teaching us how to be better people. Many thanks and farewell our dear friend.

Richard, Bianca and Family,

Our hearts are saddened by the loss of Sherry.  Sherry was a wonderful, funny, classy woman with a beautiful spirit and heart.  Truly a gem.

You have my sincere sympathies.  My heart breaks for the loss of this sweet and loving lady.  She was one heck of an attorney, and a great friend to all who knew her.  Her light will shine in all of our tomorrows - no more pain.  Sherry, you will be missed.

Sherry was a beautiful, intelligent, kind, amazing woman!  My heart is breaking for her family who have truly lost a precious soul. 

I have this vision in my mind of Sherry representing me in court so many years ago.  I can't even remember why I was in court, but I do remember that she took care of everything for me.  She was so professional, she reminded me of Portia De Rossi, who played a lawyer on the Ally McBeal show, if anyone remembers that.  Sherry wore an elegant suit, her hair pulled up and her make up perfect, as usual.  She was strikingly beautiful with a wonderful sense of humor.

I also remember one Saturday afternoon when my daughter and I sat at a table outside of Petsmart in Lansing to collect donations for Farm Sanctuary.  Sherry walked out of the store with Bianca and they stopped to talk for a minute.  She had just bought some crickets for Bianca's pet. I can't remember what kind of pet she had. I just remember thinking, "Now that's a real mommy! Buying crickets for her daughter!"  She made a generous donation to Farm Sanctuary, took Bianca's hand in hers and walked away looking just as beautiful dressed in  jeans as she had that day in court.

What a loss to all those she loved and who loved her.  To all those who had the privilege of meeting her, to those who called her "friend".  The world will surely seem a lot darker with out her brilliant smile, warm presence and her glowing personality.

My deepest sympathies to Sherry's family. I was sort of related to Sherry because Rich's Mom is my second cousin but several years ago, Sherry advised me on a legal matter with my daughter. I know she would say she was just doing her job but she helped me through one of the most difficult times in my life. She probably never realized how much I appreciated her.  Praying for Rich and family.

We always enjoyed lively conversations with Sherry at your family gatherings. Our prayers are with you as you grieve the loss of your daughter, wife, mother, sister, and aunt. May she Rest In Peace. I hope you all find comfort in your memories and each other.
