Albert Sher Chew Kong

He was born on January 28th, 1921, almost making it to his 97th birthday.

Albert has been living in Orlando since 2012; but, his heart was always back in Honolulu, Hawaii were he was born and raised.

His other loves -- after his family -- were golf, tennis and traveling. Albert wanted to live to the age of 100; but, not without his beloved wife of 67 years, Ellen. She passed away 6 months ago and Albert missed her terribly.

He is survived by his 3 sons, Dennis, David and Roger, daughter-in-law, Mary and 2 grandchildren, Alana & Nicholas.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Family Funeral Care in Orlando, FL.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, January 23rd at Family Care Funeral in Hunter's Creek -- 13001 S. John Young Pkwy, Orlando, FL 32837.

Reception & refreshments will be from 5-6pm and the service from 6-6:30pm.

Albert will then travel home on his final journey to be laid to rest next to Ellen at Nuuanu Memorial Park in Honolulu on January 29th.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to please consider making a donation to Cornerstone Hospice in memory of Albert. They cared for both Ellen and Albert during their time of need for the last 5 ½ years.
