Angelo “Tony” Clementi, formerly of Waltham, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at the age of 97. Born on January 20, 1929, Tony grew up in Waltham, where he built a life filled with hard work, music, and love for his family.
Tony was a dedicated barber and hairstylist, as well as a talented professional drummer who continued playing into his 80s. Music was one of the great joys of his life, a passion that began during the Big Band Era.
Tony took great pride in his hobbies, crafts, and paintings, especially the times he spent creating them with children and sharing those creations to friends and family to cherish for years to come.
He shared 64 loving years of marriage with his beloved wife, Marie. In 2000, Tony and Marie retired to Orlando, Florida, to be closer to their children. Together, they built a life centered on family, laughter, and unwavering love and support.
During his retirement, Tony enjoyed working at Shingle Creek Golf Course. Above all, his happiest moments were those spent surrounded by the people he loved most—his family, and the many friends he affectionately called “the gang.” His kindness, quick one-liners, humor, musical spirit, and deep love for others will never be forgotten.
Tony is survived by his wife, Marie, and his children, Paul and Letitia. Though he will be deeply missed, the memories he created and the joy he shared will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
May his music play on forever in our hearts.
