My younger brother hung out with him and his crew to skate on a few occasions.  Sorry to know he passed away back in 2013, 5 years after my younger brother.  May they continue to skate in heaven.

Wow. I was just sitting here thinking, I wonder where Brandon Nevius is right now. Making a movie? Filming a skate part? I cant believe that you are gone. We hung out in high school all the time. And would skate everyday. Brandon was always happy and smiling. I remember when you sprayed your bedroom wall green at your parents house so you could have a green screen to make videos on. I remember going to Deroot shows at the Hard Rock with you. Brandon was awesome. 

I for one, will never forget you. You taught me more than what I taught you. You now teach me the stay in touch with friends

Brandon, this is your Mom, who is so very proud of what you achieved in your short journey with us here on earth.  More that that I am proud of your love for your family, our great times together, and a son that you could always count on, and a Believer in Christ.  It has taken me 7 months to come to write in this guest book entry, but I must accept God's will and trust him. I love and miss you with all my heart--until we meet in Heaven, my dear son. R.I.P. man. I don't know how this happened and I don't know why, but it doesn't matter at this point. I hate that we lost touch and this is how I find out your condition. It hurts to know I won't be able to talk to you or see you again in this life, but I know that I will in the next and on that day, I owe you a drink my friend. You will never be forgotten and you will always be missed. May God bless you and your family.

Brandon a.k.a. Sideshow, you've made a lasting impression on me and the stories of my youth I share with my loved ones even now. With that said, you encouraged me when I had doubts even offered advice on the complex matters of life. You will always be remembered as a talented-individual who made everyday seem to have reason. My hope is that we get to meet again maybe like Jodie Foster in Contact...
at least our story would make a better movie.

 My dear friend, I will never forget you. I should had been gone 1st, NOT you man. Jen Lowey and myself have been thinking a lot about you, and we cherish your memories very much. I hope I'll see you again my friend, I really do, I still can't believe this and I truly wish your family my deepest condolences.   
 I tried calling you several times this past months, I'm an idiot for not realizing what had happen, I even sent you a Happy Birthday messaged on Facebook and again like an 'idiot' I still was clueless. Even last week after leaving a bar (for your family here in New Orleans it was Banks Street Bar) I called you and as usual it went to the operator so I deleted your # thinking you would contact me again, sadly you're too far away and I won't hear your laughs again, I miss you very much brother my heart hurts! Brandon, I will always cherish your creative spirit and remember the good times we had as kids in high school. I know it's been some time since we spoke, but my love goes to you in the heavens. I especially send my love and condolences to the Nevius family during this time. This really comes as a shock. I hope you are now able to rest in peace.

Our dearest nephew Brandon,  Your life was too short and you will be missed so much.  The only grace we have is that you will be an angel looking over your Mom, Dad and Josh. Never had the oppurtunity to catch up with you buddy. Regretting not being able to tell you how wonderful of a person you were and how much I appreciated the small things you created (skate video's ,  drawings and cartoons you made). I'll never forget you.
