

Our beloved Carmen Bermudez passed away peacefully on June 24, 2025, at the age of 95, in Orlando, Florida. Carmen was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and kindness. Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure.
Born in Guayama, Puerto Rico, to Hortensia David and Jose Bermudez, Carmen lived a life full of generosity, strength, and deep faith. Carmen’s favorite moments were spent surrounded by her family, sharing meals, laughter, and creating cherished memories together. She was always ready to offer a warm embrace, encouraging words, and unwavering support.
A proud and longtime member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, Carmen’s faith guided her throughout her life. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and for many years shared her time and heart with preschool age children through the Foster Grandparent Program.
She is survived by her loving children, Elizabeth Aponte and Felix Aponte Jr.; grandchildren, Marc Anthony Arias Sr., Nicole Aponte, Jamie Lee Arias, Felix Aponte III; and her great-grandchildren, Marc Anthony Arias, Gabriella Alexis Arias, Ava Nicole Aponte, and Felix Anthony Aponte.
Her kindness, strength, and love will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
A service to celebrate Carmen’s life will be held at Baldwin Fairchild Chapel, 1413 S. Semoran Blvd, Orlando, Florida on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, starting at 3:00 pm.
