Carol Lee Cross

Carol was born in Nyack, New York on February 23, 1934. She graduated from Nyack, New York public schools and attended Plattsburgh State College.

Carol married Walter Cross on June 15, 1958. She was a longtime employee at Hempstead Public Library, and also worked in the Child Care Center at Hofstra University. She had a passion for bowling, tennis, and tutoring elementary school students.

Carol is survived by her Children: Valerie Cross, Debra Nasser (Umar), Sandra Cross and Brian Cross (Aretha); Brother: Douglas Williams Sr. (Joan); Grandchildren: Yasmin Nasser, Asiya Nasser, Maryum Nasser, Aisha Nasser, Stephen Cross, Jamil Nasser (Itzel), Daniel Cross, Asma Nasser, Noura Nasser, and Christina Hines; Great Grandchildren: Eyaan and Alyssa Wright

Funeral Service will be held at Congregational Church of South Hempstead 416 Woodland Drive, South Hempstead, NY 11550 on February 8, 2024 at 10:00am
