Carol Cooper Odem

ODEM, CAROL ANN (COOPER), passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 16, 2012. Born in Orlando on Sept. 11, 1946, she was the daughter of Dorothy H. Cooper and the late John R. Cooper. A graduate of Bishop Moore High School, she had been living in her mountain home in Rabun Gap, Georgia. She was predeceased by her husband John W. Odem. Mrs. Odem is survived by her mother, brother John Steven Cooper, sister Susan Cooper, three daughters: Lorraine (Billy) Robinson, Christina (Colin) Berry and Katherine (Kevin) Davis. As "Nana", she had five dearly loved grandchildren: Mackenzie Robinson, Audrey and Avery Berry and Caian and Jaelyn Davis and extended families of Suzanne Davis and Cathy Ra Yancy. Her passions in life were her family, grandchildren and decorative crafts. Her sense of humor and caring heart made her a favorite with everyone she met. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 23 from 6-8 PM at the Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, 2811 Curry Ford Rd., Orlando. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 24 at 10 AM at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 5900 Oleander Drive, Orlando. Interment will be at Tallahassee Memory Gardens.
