Charles Edward Moran Jr., also known as Chuck, passed away on February 5, 2026, but his laughter and love will continue to echo in the hearts of those who knew him. Born in Keyser, West Virginia on October 22, 1946, Chuck grew up in Westernport, Maryland, where he cultivated lifelong friendships and everlasting memories.
During his younger years at Bruce High School, Chuck excelled in both football and wrestling, displaying his determination and fierce spirit. His love for sports carried on to his time at Potomac State University, where he continued to play football and wrestle with unwavering passion.
After his athletic endeavors, Chuck began his career with Moran Coal Company and later Medeva Pharmaceuticals, where his hard work and dedication left a lasting impact. However, his true joy came from his family and his hobbies. Chuck was an avid sports fan, particularly passionate about football and golf. His interests weren't limited to the field; he also had a green thumb and a talent for transforming landscapes. He always wanted his house to be the best looking one on the block.
But perhaps Chuck's most cherished moments were spent in the kitchen, where he delighted in concocting delicious meals for his loved ones. His daughters, Nikki and Kerri, were the lucky recipients of his culinary creations and will forever treasure his recipes and kitchen wisdom.
Chuck's pride and joy were his granddaughters, Kacey and Hanna Voisine. Their laughter lit up his world, and he never missed an opportunity to show off their photos to anyone who would listen.
A man of many stories, Chuck was always ready to lend a helping hand to a neighbor or a friend in need. He will be remembered for his kind heart, infectious sense of humor, and unwavering generosity.
Chuck is survived by his daughters Nicole Napier and Kerri Voisine, his son-in-laws Don Napier and Clayton Voisine, and his beloved granddaughters Kacey and Hanna Voisine. In the memories we hold dear, Chuck's spirit lives on, reminding us to cherish laughter, love, and the simple joys of life.
